ABOUT ELISA
Hey, I’m Elisa. I am the youngest of six kids, four of which are boys. I guess that’s where I get my competitiveness and my aggressiveness from! I grew up playing backyard football and street basketball. Family is the 2nd most important thing to me after my faith in God. I hope some day to have the chance to showcase this faith at the division 1 level. As of now I start varsity at Lynden high school and this year averaged 14.5 PPG as a freshmen. Not only am I a 3 sport varsity athlete but I also hold a 3.8 GPA. Even though it’s often hard I always try to be a student before an athlete. I have been playing basketball since I was 4 years old at the YMCA. I was always getting in trouble for stealing the ball too much or scoring too many points! I mean how was I suppose to know any better, I was used to having to just about break my neck to steal the ball from one of my older brothers! I grew up watching all four of my brothers play basketball both at Lynden Christian and in AAU, probably watching over a thousand games if not more. Growing up I literally thought the only channels on TV were SportsCenter 1 and SportsCenter 2. I have big dreams of playing at a collegiate level and try to put it all on the line when both practicing and playing in games to make these dreams a reality. Basketball is my passion! When I’m on the court there is no where else I would rather be. I am most known on the court for the amount of heart I play with and my creative finishes. When I play ball I go 100% because I know how loosing feels, and there is absolutely nothing I hate more then that feeling!
