ABOUT SYDNEY
Hi I’m Sydney! I’m 13 years old and this is my first year at Hoopstars. I’m very excited to be apart of this program and I hope I will learn the game and make the commitment. The coaches here at Hoopstars are amazing and I’m ready to step up my game.
I’m a 4.0 student at Blaine Middle School. My favorite subjects are math and history. Besides Basketball, I play tennis and volleyball. I have played tennis for about six years and volleyball for two. My goal is to go to University of Washington and get a scholarship for tennis, basketball and/or my grades. To achieve this I have to work hard and always try my best. I love challenging myself, making mistakes and learning from them. This has helped me succeed in sports and my life.
Other interests I have include writing, photography, swimming and traveling. I like meeting new people and making friends. Basketball has taught me that listening is extremely important. It will make you teachable and coachable and I try my best to do this at practice and in games.
